Studio 2
Studio 2 is the secondary recording environment at Fresh Air. It is used for pre-recording and practice when the primary studio is in use - especially important during our live broadcasts.

Usage
This should be a fairly intuitive set up, with two microphones and some cd/ipod playout channels, the master volumes going into audacity on the * studio 2 computer.
Fade up and down as you see fit. With pre-records, you can either go with the whole show in one take, and do it as live if you feel confident with the setup, or do each link at a time and edit it all together after you've finished, taking out pauses between playing songs.
Be warned though, sometimes the spontaneity of the live show can wield great results, where as a 6th take of the same words can sometimes sound stale and rehearsed. Just do what ever you feel comfortable with, and whatever you think will suit your show best.
